▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An electrochemical cell (10) has an electrode (13) having a layer of active catalyst material, and graphene coating partially covering the layer of active catalyst material, an electrode (15) having a conductor, an electrolyte medium (17) in electrolytic communication with electrodes, electrochemical-reactable chemical substance, and a voltage source (19) in electrolytic communication with electrodes. USE - Cell is used for electrochemical reaction in manufacture of ammonia by electrolytic hydrolysis of urea (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrochemical cell has improved rate of indirect or catalyst regeneration-type mechanism type reaction, and improves corrosion resistance even in mild alkaline pH environments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of electrode (A1); (2) method for performing electrochemical reaction; (3) manufacture of ammonia by electrolytic hydrolysis of urea; and (4) electrode.
