NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/phenolic resin aerogel involves freezing and assembling the mixed dispersion containing graphene oxide and phenolic resin, and vacuum drying to obtain the initial graphene oxide/phenolic resin airgel. The freezing assembly conditions are freezing at -25-(-15)℃ for 3-24 hours, and/or freezing in liquid nitrogen for 2-40 minutes, carried out high-temperature heat treatment in an inert atmosphere and hydrophilization modification treatment sequentially to the graphene oxide/phenolic resin initial airgel to obtain a product. The graphene/phenolic resin airgel is having a honeycomb porous structure with a pore diameter of 10-60 μm, a pore wall thickness of 0.2-0.5 μm, and a compressive strength of not less than 5.0 kPa, which is realized under the action of simple gravity oil and water separation. USE - Method for preparing graphene/phenolic resin aerogel used for oil-water separation (claimed) of industrial wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The method produces product which has excellent mechanical strength.
