NOVELTY - Preparing aminated graphene oxide (GO)/sulfonated polyaniline modified waterborne epoxy resin anticorrosive coating, involves preparing aminated graphene oxide and sulfonated polyaniline. Aminated graphene oxide dispersion with a concentration of 5 mg/ml is prepared, sulfonated polyaniline is added into the dispersion, after ultrasonic treatment, hydrazine hydrate is added at 90-95degrees for 12 hours, dried, and grinded to obtain sulfonated polyaniline composite (SPG) powder, where the mass ratio of sulfonated polyaniline, hydrazine hydrate and aminated graphene oxide is 1:1:1 followed by dispersing the SPG powder in deionized water to prepare an aqueous SPG dispersion with a concentration of 10 mg/ml, adding water-based epoxy curing agent, sonicating for 1 hour, and adding E-51 epoxy resin to the rotary evaporator to remove excess solvent, stirring for 30 minutes. USE - Method for preparing aminated graphene oxide (GO)/sulfonated polyaniline modified waterborne epoxy resin anticorrosive coating that is utilized in daily life, industry, and construction. ADVANTAGE - The anticorrosive coating has excellent barrier performance to the diffusion of corrosive electrolyte, simple synthesis process, no pollution to the environment, easy availability of raw materials, and easy to control and stable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing aminated graphene oxide (GO)/sulfonated polyaniline modified waterborne epoxy resin anticorrosive coating, involves preparing aminated graphene oxide and sulfonated polyaniline. Aminated graphene oxide dispersion with a concentration of 5 mg/ml is prepared, sulfonated polyaniline is added into the dispersion, after ultrasonic treatment, hydrazine hydrate is added at 90-95degrees for 12 hours, dried, and grinded to obtain sulfonated polyaniline composite (SPG) powder, where the mass ratio of sulfonated polyaniline, hydrazine hydrate and aminated graphene oxide is 1:1:1 followed by dispersing the SPG powder in deionized water to prepare an aqueous SPG dispersion with a concentration of 10 mg/ml, adding water-based epoxy curing agent, sonicating for 1 hour, and adding E-51 epoxy resin to the rotary evaporator to remove excess solvent, stirring for 30 minutes, where the mass ratio of water-based epoxy curing agent and E-51 epoxy resin is 3:1 to obtain the target product, and the mass fraction of SPG powder in the total mass of the target product after removing water is 1-3 wt.%.
