NOVELTY - Preparing niobium tungstate material involves mixing homogeneous solution of hydrated niobium oxalate, ammonium metatungstate and fuel in inorganic acid, self-propagating combustion reaction at 1050-1250 degrees C in air atmosphere, and then calcining reaction at the above temperature. The fuel is glycine, urea or glucose. USE - Method for preparing niobium tungstate material used in the preparation of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has excellent cycle performance, 0.5C circulation 200 ring capacity kept on the 215.9 milli Ampere hour, capacity retention rate is up to 98.1% and better electrochemical stability of the electrode material.
