NOVELTY - Preparing tungsten oxide/carbon-based nano-composite hydrosol, comprises nano tungsten oxide, graphene oxide and carboxylated carbon nano-tube. The mass ratio of nano tungsten oxide and carbon-based material graphene oxide and carboxylated carbon nano-tube is 20:1-5:1, and the mass ratio of graphene oxide and carboxylated carbon nano-tube is 8:1-4:1. USE - The hydrosol is useful in wastewater treatment and adsorbing and recycling rare earth ion and heavy metal ion in waste water and photo-catalytic degradation of organic pollutants (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently absorbs and recycles the rare earth ion and heavy metal ion in the waste water, photocatalyzes and degrades the residual part of organic matter in the wastewater under the irradiation of sunlight, and is super absorbent and full spectrum photocatalyst for processing inorganic and organic waste water.
