NOVELTY - Preparation of sulfur-doped graphene sheet involves mixing bentonite and dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide solution, stirring, aging to obtain dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide-modified bentonite suspension, adding dimethylsulfoxide to dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide-modified bentonite suspension, stirring, separating precipitate, washing with deionized water, drying, grinding to obtain modified bentonite powder, placing the powder in vacuum furnace, calcining, cooling, adding calcined powder to hydrofluoric acid solution, stirring, precipitating, drying and heat-treating. USE - Preparation of sulfur-doped graphene sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of sulfur-doped graphene sheet by simple method under mild reaction condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of sulfur-doped graphene sheet involves mixing bentonite having size of 20-50 mesh and 0.1-1 wt.% dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide solution, stirring at 60-70 degrees C for 5-6 hours, aging for 12-24 hours to obtain dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide-modified bentonite suspension, adding dimethylsulfoxide to the obtained dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide-modified bentonite suspension, stirring at 60-70 degrees C for 6-8 hours, separating the precipitate from liquid, washing the precipitate with deionized water 2-3 times, drying, grinding to 20-40 mesh to obtain modified bentonite powder, placing the powder in vacuum furnace, calcining at 400-600 degrees C for 2-4 hours, cooling to room temperature, adding calcined powder to 20-40 %mass hydrofluoric acid solution, stirring for 3-4 hours under nitrogen gas atmosphere, precipitating, drying and heat-treating at 2000-2500 degrees C for 3-6 hours. The content of dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide with respect to 1 g bentonite is 0.1-0.5 mmol. The content of dimethylsulfoxide with respect to 1 g bentonite is 4-8 mmol. The content of hydrofluoric acid solution with respect to 1 g modified bentonite powder is 5-10 ml.
