NOVELTY - An additive comprises 15-30 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 5-10 pts. wt. copper oxide powder, 10-15 pts. wt. nano-zinc oxide, 10-20 pts. wt. nano-titanium dioxide and 25-40 pts. wt. solvent. USE - Additive is useful for photocatalytic coating. ADVANTAGE - The additive has high specific surface area and excellent photocatalytic performance, is safe and environmentally-friendly, can effectively remove formaldehyde, and can be prepared in simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of additive, which involves weighing raw materials and then uniformly mixing, stirring the mixture for 1-2 hours and then hydrothermally reacting for 10-20 hours, washing the mixture using ethanol and deionized water and then centrifugally separating and drying.
