▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An attapulgite-based sulfur composite material producing method involves immersing attapulgite graphene in solution and drying to obtain attapulgite/graphene material. The attapulgite or graphene for attapulgite is subjected to surface modification, and the attapulgite subjected to surface modification or the graphene for the attapulgite is compounded with elemental sulfur through a solid phase fusion method or a liquid phase impregnation method, where the graphene content is 0-20 wt.%. USE - Attapulgite-based sulfur composite material for use as lithium-sulfur battery cathode material that is utilized in lithium-sulfur battery and other energy storage application (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The attapulgite-based sulfur composite material can effectively adsorb polysulfide generated during the charge-discharge processes, inhibits shuttle effect and improves cycling stability of a lithium-sulfur battery, and can be prepared with rich resources in easy, feasible and cost-effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an attapulgite-based sulfur composite material obtained by the method.
