NOVELTY - Phase change energy storage microcapsule comprises capsule core and capsule wall covering the outside of the capsule core. The material of the capsule core is combination of phase change material and thermally conductive filler. The material of the capsule wall comprises silicon dioxide. USE - The storage microcapsules is useful for radiating material in electronic devices (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The storage microcapsules: high as 0.4-0.8 W/m1/K1; and at the same time, has higher latent heat of phase change of 50-200 J/g. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the storage microcapsules, comprising (1) uniformly mixing the heat conducting filler, phase change material and silicon source to obtain dispersed phase, mixing the emulsifier with water, adjusting the pH of the solution to acidity, and obtaining continuous phase, (2) mixing the dispersed phase obtained in the step (1) with the continuous phase and emulsifying to form oil-in-water emulsion, and (3) reacting the oil-in-water emulsion obtained in the step (2).
