NOVELTY - Polyethylene modified asphalt based on carboxyl modified oxidized graphene comprises 100 pts. wt. asphalt, 0.5-3 pts. wt. additive and 3-7 pts. wt. modifier. USE - Polyethylene modified asphalt based on carboxyl modified oxidized graphene. ADVANTAGE - The polyethylene modified asphalt based on carboxyl modified oxidized graphene is cost effective, has good adhesion, storage stability, high temperature stability, water stability, rut resistance, and simple and mild preparation method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing polyethylene modified asphalt based on carboxyl modified oxidized graphene, which involves: (A) heating asphalt to first temperature, and then adding modifier after shearing and stirring to obtain the modified asphalt; and (B) adding additive in modified asphalt to continue cutting until additive is dispersed in modified asphalt to obtain final product.
