NOVELTY - An amorphous iron vanadate/bismuth vanadate/graphene composite photocatalyst is prepared by preparing bismuth nitrate glycerol solution, adding graphene powder, ultrasonicating for 10-15 minutes, preparing ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution and ferric nitrate solution, mixing ferric nitrate solution and prepared bismuth nitrate glycerol solution, clarifying, adding ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution, stirring for 15-30 minutes, adjusting pH value to 4-7 to obtain precursor solution, standing and aging for 1-2 hours, carrying out hydrothermal reaction for 10-20 hours at 158-162 degrees C, obtaining suspension, standing for 10-30 minutes, removing 1/2 volume of supernatant, adding ascorbic acid solution, standing for 0.5-1 hour under inert gas protection, alternatively washing 3 times with anhydrous ethanol and deionized water, and drying for 10-20 hours at 60 degrees C. USE - Method for preparing amorphous iron vanadate/bismuth vanadate/graphene composite photocatalyst for advanced treatment of photocatalytic reduction of chromium (VI) and/or chromium-containing wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has large specific surface area.
