NOVELTY - The method involves pre-treating multi-wall carbon nanotube material. The multi-wall carbon nanotube material is immersed into graphene dispersion liquid to perform an ultrasonic treatment to obtain MWCNTs-GO composite dispersion material. A glassy-carbon electrode is selected, grinded and dropped into the MWCNTs-GO composite dispersion liquid. A MWCNTs-GO-GCE electrode is obtained. The MWCNTs-GO-GCE electrode is reduced to a MWCNTs- RGO- GCE electrode according to a current-time technique. Gold nano material is utilized to modify the MWCNTs- RGO- GCE electrode to obtain a carbon-based composite material loaded gold nano glassy carbon electrode. USE - Method for manufacturing carbon-based composite material loaded gold nano glassy carbon electrode (claimed) for use in an electrochemical sensor for detecting nitrite content in food. ADVANTAGE - The method enables solving the problem of poor current response of manufacturing the glassy carbon electrode, low yield and insufficient electrochemical performance.
