NOVELTY - Preparing titanium dioxide nanowire-graphene nanocomposite material, comprises e.g. (i) mixing graphite powder and sodium nitrate with concentrated sulfuric acid in a conical flask under ice-water bath condition, stirring, adding potassium permanganate into mixed solution under ice-water bath condition, stirring to obtain green-purple mixed solution, maintaining green-purple mixed solution at 35-40 degrees C for 1 hour, adding distilled water, maintaining at 85-95 degrees C, stopping heating to obtain dark brown mixed solution, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide into dark brown mixed solution to obtain bright yellow mixed solution, repeatedly washing bright yellow mixed solution using hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water, centrifuging, collecting and freeze-drying to obtain graphene oxide nanosheet, and (ii) adding graphene oxide into deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, adding titanium dioxide powder and post processing. USE - The titanium dioxide nanowire-graphene nanocomposite material is useful as electrode material in supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: solves the problems of poor conductivity and low performance of titanium dioxide as supercapacitor electrode material; produces product having high specific surface area and high performance; is simple and suitable for large-scale production; and has high efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing titanium dioxide nanowire-graphene nanocomposite material, comprises (i) mixing 0.8-1 g graphite powder and 0.8-1 g sodium nitrate with 46 ml concentrated sulfuric acid in a conical flask under ice-water bath condition, stirring for 25-35 minutes, adding 6 g potassium permanganate into mixed solution under ice-water bath condition, stirring for 45-55 minutes to obtain green-purple mixed solution, maintaining green-purple mixed solution at 35-40 degrees C for 1 hour under stirring condition, adding 40-45 ml distilled water, maintaining at 85-95 degrees C for 35-40 minutes, stopping heating to obtain dark brown mixed solution, adding 100 ml deionized water and 6 ml of 30-35 wt.% hydrogen peroxide into dark brown mixed solution to obtain bright yellow mixed solution, repeatedly washing bright yellow mixed solution using 5 wt.% hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water until the pH is 6-7, centrifuging at a rotating speed of 3000 revolutions/minute, collecting and freeze-drying for 4 hours to obtain graphene oxide nanosheet, and (ii) adding 0.2 g graphene oxide obtained in step (i) into 75 ml deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing at room temperature for 2 hours to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, adding 0.01-1.2 g titanium dioxide powder into graphene oxide dispersion, stirring for 30-60 minutes, ultrasonically dispersing for 30-60 minutes to obtain uniformly mixed dispersion of titanium dioxide and graphene oxide, adding 24-36 g sodium hydroxide into uniformly mixed dispersion of titanium dioxide and graphene oxide, stirring for 30 minutes, hydrothermally reacting mixed solution at 200-220 degrees C for 22-26 hours, acidifying obtained hydrothermal product with 0.1 mol/l hydrochloric acid for 3 times, washing using deionized water until it becomes neutral, freeze-drying water washed product for 4-6 hours and heating dried product at 450-500 degrees C for 3 hours under protection of argon to obtain final product, where the argon flow is 500 sccm during heating.
