NOVELTY - Graphene/butadiene styrene rubber/epoxy resin composite material comprises 50-80 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 15-40 pts. wt. curing agent and 0.1-5 pts. wt. graphene-coated styrene butadiene rubber composite microspheres USE - The composite material is useful in high performance resin material field. ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has simple preparation process, strong universality; high impact toughness and damping vibration performance; ensure the constraint effect of the graphene to the rubber elastomer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene/butadiene styrene rubber/epoxy resin composite material comprising (i) preparing graphene coated styrene butadiene rubber composite microsphere (a) diluting styrene-butadiene rubber emulsion, adding a vulcanizing auxiliary agent, fully stirring for 0.5-2 hours and obtaining styrene-butadiene rubber microspheres with particle size distribution of 1-5 microns by a spray drying method, (b) taking graphene oxide as a raw material, dispersing the graphene oxide in deionized water and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain a stably dispersed graphene oxide aqueous dispersion, dropwise adding hydrazine hydrate and ammonia water into the dispersion liquid, and placing the dispersion liquid at 70-110degrees Celsius for oil bath reaction for 0.5-2 hours, adding a surfactant and performing ultrasonic dispersion for 20-50 minutes to obtain a uniform and stable aqueous dispersion of the reduced graphene oxide, (c) adding the styrene-butadiene rubber microspheres prepared in the step (a) into the reduced graphene oxide aqueous dispersion prepared in the step (b), where the mass ratio of the styrene-butadiene rubber microspheres to the reduced graphene oxide aqueous dispersion is 1:100-1: 1000, performing ultrasonic treatment until the dispersion is uniform and obtaining the product by the graphene by a spray drying method, (ii) taking 50-80 pts. wt. epoxy resin, adding 0.1-5 pts. wt. graphene coated styrene butadiene rubber composite microspheres prepared in the step (1) and carrying out ultrasonic treatment until the dispersion is uniform, adding 15-40 pts. wt. curing agent and uniformly stirring; vacuumizing to remove bubbles and curing to obtain the final product.
