NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene-titania photocatalytic composite material involves (i) chemically synthesizing graphene oxide, dissolving graphene oxide in ethanol, repeatedly high-frequency ultrasonically processing, and centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide-enriched ethanol solution, (ii) weighing a titania sample, placing in a quartz tube, adding ethanol solution, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain a titania suspension, (iii) adding graphene oxide-enriched ethanol solution to titania suspension, stirring, and dispersing to obtain graphene oxide/titania suspension. USE - Preparation of graphene-titania photocatalytic composite material used in photocatalytic degradation of organic dye, and treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of graphene-titania photocatalytic composite material by simple process in a short time with high efficiency, safety, and reliability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene-titania photocatalytic composite material involves (i) chemically synthesizing graphene oxide, dissolving graphene oxide in ethanol, repeatedly high-frequency ultrasonically processing, and centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide-enriched ethanol solution, (ii) weighing a titania sample, placing in a quartz tube, adding ethanol solution, and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain a titania suspension, (iii) adding graphene oxide-enriched ethanol solution to titania suspension, stirring, and uniformly dispersing to obtain graphene oxide/titania suspension, (iv) placing the graphene oxide/titania suspension in a dark environment, continuously introducing an inert gas to graphene oxide/titania suspension for 20-120 minutes, (v) placing the graphene oxide/titania suspension in an UV light environment, reacting in a stirred and inert gas atmosphere for 0.5-2 hours to obtain a graphene/titania suspension, (vi) drying the graphene/titania suspension in a blast oven, and grinding.
