NOVELTY - The method involves preparing a mesoporous silicon dioxide template. The mesoporous silicon dioxide template is provided with a mesoporous silicon dioxide pore structure. Sugar, metal inorganic salt and concentrated sulfuric acid are uniformly mixed in water solution for 6 hours, where mixing temperature is 100 degrees Celsius. A silane coupling agent is provided with a carboxyl silane coupling agent, a gas second propyl diethoxy silane agent and a propyl dimethoxy silane agent. USE - Method for preparing graphene coated mesoporous carbon-based metal oxide utilized for an electrode material of a lithium battery and an electrode material of super capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing the graphene coated mesoporous carbon-based metal oxide with excellent electrochemical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The silicon dioxide template hole is filled with variety of metal oxides such as copper oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, manganese oxide, tin oxide, titanium dioxide, vanadium oxide, zinc oxide, molybdenum dioxide and cobalt oxide.
