NOVELTY - Double-shell nanocomposite photocatalyst comprises a metal oxide nanoflower structures; a silver oxide nanoparticle layer positioned on the metal oxide nanoflower structure and surrounding at least a portion of the metal oxide nanoflower structure; and a graphene oxide layer positioned on the silver oxide nanoparticle layer and surrounding at least a portion of the silver oxide nanoparticle layer. USE - The photocatalyst is useful for decomposing organic dyes and volatile organic compounds (claimed) in various industrial fields. ADVANTAGE - The photocatalyst has improved band bending by heterojunction and electron hole separation efficiency, and improved simultaneously efficiency and stability.
