NOVELTY - Cleaning graphite oxide without involving hydrochloric acid, comprises oxidizing graphite by chemical methods to obtain a mixture of graphite oxide, oxidant, intercalation agent and other reaction products, diluting with water, performing solid-liquid separation, collecting the filter cake, washing the filter cake with water, obtaining a filter cake with higher purity, adding water and hydrogen peroxide for slurry, and performing solid-liquid separation to obtain a high-purity graphite oxide filter cake. USE - The method is useful for cleaning graphite oxide without involving hydrochloric acid. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of efficiently cleaning graphite oxide and graphene oxide without using hydrochloric acid, reducing waste water production, improving production efficiency, and avoiding adverse effect caused by hydrochloronic acid. The method has high cleaning and collecting efficiency of filter cake, cleaning waste water and graphite nitrogen oxide filter cake without hydrochlorilic acid and so characteristics, which can be used for industrial production of oxidation material graphene.
