NOVELTY - Preparation of modified graphene oxide adsorbing material comprises dispersing 100 mg graphene oxide in anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide, adding 1-3 mL diphenyl methane diisocyanate, stirring at 40-80 degrees C, reacting for 1-4 hours, cooling with anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide, washing for 3 times, centrifugally separating, and vacuum drying to obtain diphenyl methane diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide; and mixing diphenyl methane diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide and EDTA, ball milling, freezing and drying material. USE - Method for preparing modified graphene oxide adsorbing material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent adsorption performance for heavy metal ions in wastewater. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of modified graphene oxide adsorbing material comprises dispersing 100 mg graphene oxide in anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide, adding 1-3 mL diphenyl methane diisocyanate, stirring at 40-80 degrees C, reacting for 1-4 hours, cooling with anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide, washing for 3 times, centrifugally separating, and vacuum drying to obtain diphenyl methane diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide; and mixing diphenyl methane diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide and EDTA at weight ratio of 1:20-40, mixing uniformly, putting in ball mill, controlling ratio of grinding media to material at 1.5-3:1, milling at 60-100 rad/minute for 1-6 minutes, freezing and drying to obtain acid/diphenyl methane diisocyanate/graphene oxide composite material.
