NOVELTY - Preparation of water-soluble graphene by double-graphite electrode electric field driving comprises dissolving hydrate containing EDTA salt and metal hydroxide in deionized water to form electrolyte, putting double-graphite electrode in electrolyte, accessing square wave voltage, starting to react until double-graphite electrode is peeled off, cleaning electrolytic solution after multiple reactions, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain water-soluble graphene dispersion liquid, and drying dispersion liquid to obtain water-soluble graphene nanosheet powder. USE - The method is for preparing water-soluble graphene by double-graphite electrode electric field driving. ADVANTAGE - The method uses double-graphite foil as anode and cathode which reduces use of noble metal electrode, reduces cost, improves yield, uses common beaker or glassware as simple device, is green and environment-friendly, and has short operation time and convenient operation, and is simple and easy to amplify. The graphene has high quality, good conductivity and excellent dispersibility in water.
