NOVELTY - Improving compatibility of graphene oxide with polyolefin material comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in 50% aqueous solution of ethanol to obtain first suspension, (ii) adding modifier into first suspension, and heating to obtain second suspension, (iii) washing second suspension with deionized water and centrifugating to obtain precipitate, (iv) subjecting precipitate to vacuum drying under constant temperature to obtain modified graphene oxide, where modifier is mixture of acrylic acid, vinyl acetate and sodium hypochlorite. USE - The method is useful for improving compatibility of graphene oxide with polyolefin material.
