NOVELTY - Composite material comprises artificial graphite and porous graphene composited and dispersed on the surface of artificial graphite. USE - The composite material is useful as cathode material in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: adopts simple preparation method by combining artificial graphite raw material, graphene oxide and pore-forming agent and graphitizing to form artificial graphite composites with special structures; uses low-hazardous environment-friendly raw materials and hence reduces harm to the environment; has good controllability and strong environmental protection; and is more suitable for industrial popularization and application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the composite material, comprising: (a) mixing graphene oxide, artificial graphite precursor and pore-forming agent solution to obtain a mixed solution; (b) carbonizing and reducing the mixed solution under protective atmosphere to obtain an intermediate product; and (c) graphitizing the intermediate product under protective atmosphere to obtain the composite material. (2) a lithium-ion battery, comprising an anode, a cathode and an electrolyte, where the material of the cathode comprises the porous graphene/artificial graphite composite material.
