▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The archery arm guard (100) has a guard plate (102) with a generally elongated shape and including a contoured profile that conforms to a forearm of a user. A slap strap (104) is fabricated of a bistable spring band and coupled at one end to the guard plate. The slap strap is operable to quickly snap from a straight configuration to an annular configuration to encircle around the forearm of the user to secure the guard plate on the forearm. USE - Archery arm guard for use in sport of archery. ADVANTAGE - The guard can be worn on the forearm of the bow hand to prevent injury from direct contact with the bowstring upon releasing the arrow in the sport of archery effectively. The guard is made of a single piece of plastic or leather, so the guard is easy to use and inexpensive to manufacture and can be manufactured easily. The archery arm guard described herein can be secured to the user forearm nearly instantly and can also be removed quickly without having to manipulate buckles, ties, or other fasteners. These openings help to increase airflow to the archers forearm and avoid trapping perspiration between the arm guard and the wearers skin. The openings also help to reduce any unnecessary bulk and weight of the guard plate. The dimensions of the friction-fit connector and the hole are sized so that the connector remains securely attached to the slap strap under normal usage conditions. The openings help to increase airflow to the archers forearm and avoid trapping perspiration between the arm guard and the wearers skin. The openings also help to reduce any unnecessary bulk and weight of the guard plate.
