NOVELTY - Bioelectrode comprises a graphite electrode modified with nanocomposite and anti-phospholipase A2 antibodies. USE - The bioelectrode is useful for diagnosing leishmaniasis by detecting phospholipase A2 in sample of fluid contaminated with Leishmania amazonensis (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The bioelectrode has improved usability and diagnoses leishmaniasis in a cost-effective and less time-consuming manner with improved selectivity at an early stage.
