NOVELTY - Two-dimensional material quantum dot composite material comprises two-dimensional material and quantum dot material. The two-dimensional material and the quantum dot material are deposited on the surface of the substrate. USE - The two-dimensional material quantum dot composite material is useful as solid lubricant in special working conditions e.g. high and low temperature, high vacuum, strong radiation and harsh environments e.g. dust, humidity and seawater. ADVANTAGE - The two-dimensional material quantum dot composite material: has simple preparation method and does not requires post-processing; and has wide range of applications. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing two-dimensional material quantum dot composite material, comprising (i) placing the substrate on the bottom of the container, (ii) adding the two-dimensional material and the quantum dot material to the solvent separately and uniformly dispersing and pouring the solution into the container and (iii) taking out the substrate after the two-dimensional material and the quantum dot material are all deposited on the surface of the substrate, allowing to stand the substrate until the solvent evaporates completely to obtain final product.
