▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing a graphene fiber involves heating a silicon carbide fiber under a vacuum atmosphere and/or an inert gas atmosphere, increasing the temperature to decomposition and escape temperature of silicon element and then heat preserving. USE - The method is useful for preparing a graphene fiber, which is useful for preparing a graphene/silicon carbide composite fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and continuous large-scale preparation of the graphene fiber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) the graphene fiber prepared by the above method, where the graphene fiber has a tensile strength of greater than 200 MPa, a modulus of greater than 20 GPa, and a density of greater than 1.2 g/cm3; and (2) a graphene/silicon carbide composite fiber prepared by the above method, which comprises a silicon carbide fiber and a graphene layer coated on an outer surface of the silicon carbide fiber, where the thickness of the graphene layer is 0.001-0.5 times the diameter of the graphene/silicon carbide composite fiber.
