NOVELTY - Pitch-based ultrafine carbon fiber comprises less than or equal to 1 atomic% nitrogen atom measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and has an average fiber diameter of 100-900 nm and a true density of 1.95-2.2 g/cm3. USE - Pitch-based ultrafine carbon fiber. ADVANTAGE - The fiber has excellent dispersibility in an aqueous solvent and electrical conductivity.
