NOVELTY - Preparing graphene polymer composite film comprises (i) melt blending 1-3 pts. wt. polyethylene terephthalate and 2-4 pts. wt. graphene at 285 degrees C for 1 hour, cooling to 60 degrees C to obtain mixture A, (ii) adding 1-2 pts. wt. polyethylene oxide and 1-2 pts. wt. polyvinylpyrrolidone into mixture A, stirring and lowering the temperature to room temperature, and (iii) annealing at 100 degrees C for 3-5 hours to obtain super composite film. USE - The composite film is useful in preparing high-strength structural materials, supercapacitor, photovoltaic device, lithium-ion battery cathode material and sensors. ADVANTAGE - The composite film has simple preparation, low cost and excellent performance; and is environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
