NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene by magnesium-reduction of graphene oxide involves adding graphite oxide to ethanol solution, ultrasonically treating mixture to obtain 0.1-10 mg/ml graphene oxide-ethanol mixed liquid, mixing magnesium powder with mixed liquid, ultrasonically stirring liquid to obtain uniformly dispersed slurry, filtering and vacuum drying slurry at 1-100 MPa to obtain compact material, sintering compact material at 400-600 degrees C for 2 hours, crushing compact material, and extracting crushed material with hydrochloric acid. USE - The method is useful for preparation of graphene by magnesium-reduction of graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures simple, economical, industrial and environmentally-friendly preparation of graphene without using toxic reagent in short time at low temperature.
