NOVELTY - Preparing carbon quantum dot comprises mixing hydrogen peroxide, ultrapure water and graphene oxide, stirring to obtain a solution, transferring the above to a PTFE inner liner high pressure kettle, sealing with a stainless steel shell, and placing in an oven and heating at 160-200 degrees C for 12-36 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing carbon quantum dot. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple; has short reaction time and mild conditions; can be achieved under low energy conditions; and is suitable for large scale industrial production of high quality carbon quantum dots with uniform size and high fluorescence quantum yield.
