NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide involves cooling the temperature of the intercalation agent to 8 degrees C, then adding the pretreated graphite powder and mixing to obtain a suspension of graphite powder and the intercalation agent, where the pretreatment includes drying and sieving, adding oxidant to the suspension obtained, then performing an intercalation reaction to obtain reaction product mixed with graphene oxide. The reaction product mixed with graphene oxide obtained is subjected to solid-liquid separation to obtain a filter cake and a filtrate, mixed the graphite oxide filter cake obtained with ice water. The graphite oxide filter cake is dissolved and dispersed, quencher is added to obtain a graphene oxide suspension and subjected the graphene oxide suspension to solid-liquid separation to obtain a graphene oxide filter cake. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide used in the preparation of energy environment additives, microelectronic additives, composite materials additives, and military and aerospace additives (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is suitable for industrial production and has short reaction time, in simple and efficient manner.
