NOVELTY - Preparation of ionic liquid modified graphene/carbon nanotube/epoxy resin composite material comprises taking N-methylimidazole and chlorinated hydrocarbons into three-necked flask, oil bath-heating under nitrogen atmosphere, cooling to room temperature, adding sodium fluoroborate and acetone, stirring for 20-25 hours, vacuum filtering, vacuum distilling, adding 1,2-dichloromethane, vacuum filtering, and vacuum distilling to prepare ionic liquid; taking graphene powder, adding ionic liquid and N,N-dimethylformamide, and dispersing for 20 minutes; and adding surface-modified carbon nanotubes, ultrasonically dispersing for 20 minutes, adding to epoxy resin and curing agent, mixing, dissolving, pouring into mold coated with silicon ester, and curing. USE - Method for preparing ionic liquid modified graphene/carbon nanotube/epoxy resin composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has wide raw materials source, low cost, small environmental pollution, simple operation and technique, and improved impact strength and thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of ionic liquid modified graphene/carbon nanotube/epoxy resin composite material comprises taking 7.97 g N-methylimidazole and chlorinated hydrocarbons into three-necked flask, oil bath-heating under nitrogen atmosphere at 70-80 degrees C for 40-45 hours, cooling to room temperature, adding 1-1.5 g sodium fluoroborate and 8-10 mL acetone, stirring for 20-25 hours, vacuum filtering, vacuum distilling, adding 3-6 mL 1,2-dichloromethane, vacuum filtering, and vacuum distilling to prepare ionic liquid; taking 0.3 g graphene powder, adding 20 mL ionic liquid and 40 mL N,N-dimethylformamide, and dispersing for 20 minutes; and adding 0.5-1.5 g surface-modified carbon nanotubes, ultrasonically dispersing for 20 minutes, adding to 25-30 g epoxy resin and 6-8 g curing agent, mixing, dissolving, pouring into mold coated with silicon ester, and curing at 120 degrees C for 2 hours, 160 degrees C for 2 hours, and 180 degrees C for 2 hours. The epoxy resin is E51 epoxy resin or E44 epoxy resin. The chlorinated hydrocarbon is chloro-n-butane, chloro-n-hexane, or chlorooctadecane. The surface modified carbon nanotube is surface carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube or surface aminated multi-walled carbon nanotube. The curing agent is N,N-diaminodiphenyl sulfone, N,N-diaminodiphenylmethane, and/or N,N-diaminodiphenyl ethers.
