NOVELTY - Copper-free ER50-6 gas shielded solid wire comprises steel wire substrate and a surface coating, where surface coating layer comprises 45-53 pts. wt. base liquid, 8-13 pts. wt. micron-sized granular graphite, 17-24 pts. wt. nano-scale graphene and 17 -24 pts. wt. nano-scale flaky graphite. USE - Copper-free ER50-6 gas shielded solid wire. ADVANTAGE - The copper-free ER50-6 gas shielded solid wire has adopts a special surface coating to make the copper-free welding wire equal and superior to the copper-plated welding wire in the indexes of conduction, lubrication, contact tip wear and rust prevention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a copper-free ER50-6 gas shielded solid wire, which involves: (A) weighing the poly 3,4 ethylene dioxythiophene, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether and polyurethane into the mixer for stirring at a stirring speed of 50-60 revolution per minute (rpm) for 0.5-1.5 hours to get base liquid; (B) weighing the base liquid, add micron-sized granular graphite, nano-scale graphene and nano-scale flaky graphite, pour into a stirrer for stirring at a speed of 50-60 rpm for 1.5-2.5 hours to obtain coating liquid; (C) adding the coating liquid into the coating mold box, and the steel wire drawn to the required diameter is passed through the coating liquid and then passed through the wire drawing die, and the running speed of the steel wire is 12-18 m/second, and the diameter of the wire drawing die is 2-4 mu m larger than the diameter of the wire; and (D) coating at a temperature of 150-200 degrees C, drying with the wind speed of 5 m/second for 0.3-0.5 second to obtain the desired product.
