NOVELTY - Producing electric heating device (10) involves providing a sheet (14) of electrically highly conductive material of appropriate thickness, cutting (42) through the sheet for obtaining a predetermined line pattern (16) comprising at least one electroconductive line (22) with electroconductive bridge component, interconnecting portions of the electroconductive line, providing (44) dielectric, planar, flexible carrier (12), depositing (46) a layer of curable adhesive material (28) onto surface of the flexible carrier, placing the line pattern onto the layer of adhesive material, curing (50) the adhesive material below the line pattern with the adhesive material below the bridge component, cutting through each bridge component at all ends between portions of the electroconductive line interconnected by the respective bridge component. USE - Producing electric heating device for automotive applications e.g. vehicle interior portions e.g. steering wheels, arm rests, door panels and passenger seats, driver seat, back seat, dashboard panel heaters, and for printed circuit board. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical and produces heating device with excellent capability for carrying high current density in electric feed lines that form potion of the predetermine line pattern. The heating device is integrated close to an outer surface of articles with low visibility and tactility and environmentally-friendly since it produces printed circuit board without etching process.
