NOVELTY - Preparing blue fluorescent graphene quantum dot comprises (a) dissolving graphene oxide powder into deionized water that is equivalent to 0.8-1 times the weight of the graphene oxide powder, adding de-ionized water whose volume is 0.5-1 times of hydrogen peroxide solution as oxidant stirring and dispersing uniformly to obtain the graphene oxide dispersion, (b) using hydrothermal method, placing the reaction kettle in a sealed reaction, reacting to obtain blue fluorescent graphene quantum dot solution, (c) cooling the obtained graphene quantum dot solution, sealing, vacuum freezing and drying. USE - The blue fluorescent graphene quantum dot is useful for white light light-emitting diode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and environmentally friendly. The graphene quantum dot can emit blue fluorescence and has stable light emitting property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of blue fluorescent graphene quantum dot in white light light-emitting diode comprising taking blue fluorescent glue and graphene quantum dot, yellow fluorescent powder glue to obtain the yellow fluorescent glue according to the same method, where the ultraviolet light source is an ultraviolet light-emitting diode chip is connected to the substrate, coating the blue fluorescent glue and yellow fluorescent glue on the ultraviolet light-emitting diode chip to obtain ultraviolet-excited white light light-emitting diode lamp, where the blue fluorescent graphene quantum dot best UV excitation wavelength is 360-380 nm and maximum emitting peak at 420-450 nm.
