NOVELTY - Graphene-polymer nanocomposite aqueous lubricating additive comprises an active ingredient comprising graphene oxide and brush-shaped chitosan graft copolymer non-covalent self-assembly compound. USE - The graphene-polymer nanocomposite aqueous lubricating additive is useful in aqueous lubrication (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lubricating additive enhances the dispersion stability of graphene, and exhibits synergistic effect, and enhances the adsorption of graphene on the friction interface, improves the stability of the carbonaceous friction reaction film, and has excellent anti-friction and anti-wear performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the lubricating additive, involving mixing the brush-shaped chitosan graft copolymer and graphene oxide aqueous dispersion to obtain the additive.
