NOVELTY - Material produced by introducing graphene oxide in a porous sol-gel material, and subjecting via surface-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry in form of film, claimed. USE - The material is useful for metabolic fingerprints (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent contact effect between the matrix and the sample, effectively transferring laser energy to analyte, exhibits higher analytical performance than conventional metabolic fingerprint material and process background subtraction and noise reduction of mass spectra. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing material, comprising (a) preparing graphene oxide, (b) adding a sol-gel solution to the graphene oxide by a sol-gel method to obtain a porous sol-gel film, and (c) removing graphene oxide on surface of porous sol-gel film by ultrasonically treating the porous sol-gel film.
