NOVELTY - Preparation of industrial silicone sealant involves adding (i) 100-120 pts. wt. alpha , omega -dihydroxy polydimethylsiloxane, 8-10 pts. wt. flame retardant and 10-15 pts. wt. high-temperature-resistant filler to a kneader, and kneading at a temperature of 140-160 degrees C under a vacuum of 0.05-0.08 MPa for 3-5 hours to obtain a base rubber, and adding (ii) 5-8 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 3-5 pts. wt. catalyst and 3-5 pts. wt. coupling agent to the base rubber, and stirring at a speed of 100-120 rpm under a vacuum of 0.05-0.08 MPa for 2-3 hours. USE - Preparation of industrial silicone sealant. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of industrial silicone sealant having improved flame retardance, when the high-temperature-resistant filler is mixed with flame retardant. The flame retardant dehydrates and carbonizes silicone sealant to form carbon layer which prevents intrusion of oxygen and overflow of combustible gas, thereby preventing combustion of silicone sealant. Graphene oxide is quasi-two-dimensional restricted structure, and polymer molecules are bound between layers of graphene oxide, which restricts the free movement of molecular chains and segment chains, thereby improving the high temperature resistance of silicone sealant.
