NOVELTY - An anode electrode material comprises a composite (100) comprising a silicon sheet (110), a graphene sheet (120) sandwiching the silicon sheet, and a carbon material (130) located between the silicon sheet and the graphene sheet. USE - Material used for forming anode electrode for lithium-ion secondary battery (all claimed) used for portable electronic devices such as notebook computers and mobile phones. ADVANTAGE - The anode electrode material has suppressed volume expansion due to insertion/removal of lithium ions, and provides lithium-ion secondary battery with excellent capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the anode electrode material, which involves mixing silicon oxide sheet of formula: SiOx (I), where x is 0-1, and the graphene oxide sheet in a dispersion medium to obtain a mixture, mixing the mixture with an aqueous solution of a cationic polymer to obtain a precursor, and calcining the precursor; and (2) a lithium-ion secondary battery.
