USE - The biosensor is useful for: detecting human papilloma virus (HPV) in biological samples. ADVANTAGE - The biosensor is simple, sensitive, selective, cost-effective and provides reproducible results. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for in vitro detection of HPV in a biological sample comprising contacting sample with optical biosensor, where the biosensor comprises functionalized surface, dendrimer, spacer, capture probe, reporter probe, and nanoparticles.
