NOVELTY - A composite electrode comprises conductive substrate, carbon nanotubes array, graphene and manganese dioxide. The surface of composite electrode is graphene oxide. The composite electrode is prepared by connecting carbon nanotubes array with conductive substrate to form a three-dimensional conductive network framework, coating graphene nano-scale to carbon nanotubes array to form carbon nanotubes array-graphene composite structure, and dispersing manganese dioxide at nano scale in carbon nanotubes array-graphene composite structure. USE - Surface oxide carbon nanotubes array/graphene/manganese dioxide composite electrode used for supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite electrode has high cycle performance, high conductivity, high capacity, high stable structure, high capacitance performance, low energy consumption and is prepared by simple and environmentally-friendly process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of surface oxide carbon nanotubes array/graphene/manganese dioxide composite electrode; and (2) usage of surface oxide carbon nanotubes array/graphene/manganese dioxide composite electrode for supercapacitor.
