NOVELTY - Graphene slurry insulating material comprises 5-10 pts. wt. polyvinyl chloride particles, 20-40 pts. wt. phenolic resin, 10-15 pts. wt. modified expanded perlite, 5-10 pts. wt. graphene, 3-5 pts. wt. methylphenylmethoxy silicone oil, 1-3 pts. wt. stabilizer and 0.1-1 pts. wt. toughening agent, where the graphene obtained by soaking graphene in sodium hydroxide solution, then modification with tert-butyl phenolic resin, and the sodium hydroxide solution is added with 5-8 wt.% of nekal powder. USE - Used as graphene slurry insulating material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene slurry insulating material has good breaking strength, low water absorption and low coefficient of heat conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing insulating material comprising (i) mixing polyvinyl chloride particles, modified expanded perlite and graphene to obtain mixture A; (ii) heating the mixture A at 70-90 degrees C, and then adding phenolic resin and methylphenylmethoxy silicone oil to obtain mixture B; and (iii) placing the mixture B under vacuum condition, then adding stabilizer and toughening agent and stirring evenly, and then cooling to room temperature to obtain final product.
