NOVELTY - Preparing polyolefin-graphene composite material involves using Grignard reagent and modified grapheme oxide, where ultrasonically dispersing the graphene oxide in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran and then adding Grignard reagent at 40-80 degrees C and proceeding reaction for 20-50 hours. The graphene oxide Grignard reagent group is reacted with graphene oxide to obtain grafted graphene oxide surface. The grafted graphene oxide surface is washed and then the washed surface is dried to obtain modified graphene surface. USE - Method for preparing polyolefin-graphene composite material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing polyolefin/graphene composite material involves using Grignard reagent and modified grapheme oxide, where ultrasonically dispersing the graphene oxide in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran and then adding Grignard reagent at 40-80 degrees C and proceeding reaction for 20-50 hours. The graphene oxide Grignard reagent group is reacted with graphene oxide to obtain grafted graphene oxide surface. The grafted graphene oxide surface is washed and then the washed surface is dried to obtain modified graphene surface. Titanium tetrachloride is added to the Grignard reagent and graphene oxide in first step to obtain titanium tetrachloride catalyst complex. The titanium tetrachloride catalyst complex is worked as main and supported catalyst to load grapheme. The olefin monomer and co-catalyst are added to the reaction mixture and then the reaction mixture is mixed uniformly at a given temperature to obtain polyolefin-graphene composite material.
