NOVELTY - Preparing infrared antibacterial coating involves: pretreating the infrared light response catalytic material; adding the pretreated infrared light response catalytic material to a film-forming material according to the predetermined ratio of the catalytic material and film-forming material, and stirring to obtain a mixed material; and loading the mixed material on a surface of a substrate. USE - The method is useful for preparing infrared antibacterial coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and large-scale industrial preparation of the infrared antibacterial coating, which has excellent antibacterial performance, expands the light response area of the material and can make full use of light. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the infrared antibacterial coating, which comprises 1-10% infrared light response catalytic material, and 90-99% film-forming material.
