NOVELTY - Composition comprises a starch-based surfactant including carboxymethyl starch salt and alkyl glycoside surfactants. USE - The composition is useful for inhibiting hydrate decomposition, and coupling-enhanced solid hydrate and improving storage and transportation stability of solid hydrates (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition not only improves the interface stability of the hydrate phase boundary, but can also improves the mechanical stability of the hydrate and enhances the strength of the hydrate crystal interface since the colloidal solution formed by dispersing the sodium carboxymethyl starch and the alkyl glycoside surfactant in water can coat the surface of the hydrate to form a protective layer, thus improving the structural stability of the hydrate; reduces the decomposition rate of the hydrate, and can further reduce the decomposition amount of the hydrate, enhanced the storage and transportation stability of the solid hydrate. The solid hydrate storage and transportation technology of natural gas has relatively high gas storage capacity, relatively safe and reliable non-explosive storage process, and has been widely researched and applied in this industry as an emerging alternative gas storage technology.
