▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Selenium metal compound-carbon material-sulfur composite cathode material comprises selenium metal compound attached to the carbon material and sulfur adsorbed on the carbon material-selenium metal compound. The quality of the carbon material is 2-3 times the quality of the selenium metal compound. The sulfur mass is 1-2 times the mass of the selenium metal compound. USE - The cathode material is useful in lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode material has stable structure and proper chemical adsorption effect for the lithium polysulfide, and provides more active sites to catalyze and accelerate the kinetic rate of the lithium polysulfide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the cathode material, comprising (i) providing the carbon material as the substrate under alkaline conditions, and adhering selenium metal compound to the surface of the carbon material to obtain the selenium metal compound-carbon; and (ii) thermally synthesizing the selenium metal compound-carbon and sulfur in carbon sulfide.
