NOVELTY - Medium carbon steel surface high resistance coating layer comprises 1-4 wt.% rare earth coated Ni60, 0.1-0.6 wt.% graphene and iron powder (balance). The rare earth coated Ni60 is obtained by soaking Ni60 powder in a mixed solution of cerium nitrate and hydrogen peroxide for 100-180 minutes, and soaking at a temperature of 30-50 degrees C, and the pH of the mixed solution is 4.5. USE - Used as medium carbon steel surface high resistance coating layer. ADVANTAGE - The steel has better anti-corrosion ability, higher surface hardness, strength, anti-friction performance and surface self-healing and increases the comprehensive performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing medium carbon steel surface high resistance coating layer, comprising (a) adding 2-5 g/l cerium nitrate solution into 0.3-0.5 g/l hydrogen peroxide solution to obtain the mixed solution, where the pH of the mixed solution is 4.5, (b) placing the Ni60 powder into the mixed solution for 100-180 minutes, soaking temperature is 30-50 degrees C to obtain rare earth coating Ni60, (iii) drying the rare earth coated Ni60, mixing with graphene powder and iron powder, and performing dry ball milling for 1-2 hours to obtain a mixed powder, (d) adopting mixture of rosin, turpentine oil mixture as bonding agent, mixing with the obtained mixed powder, coating on the surface of the carbon steel, drying to sufficiently volatilize the binder, (e) drying, placing the medium carbon steel into induction cladding device for cladding, insulating the temperature at 1100-1300 degrees C, (f) soaking the medium carbon steel after cladding in the hydrolysis liquid of silane for 100-120 seconds, where the soaking temperature is 30-50 degrees C and pH is 4, removing out and naturally drying, finally to obtain medium carbon steel surface high resistance coating layer, where the hydrolyzate of the silane is obtained by adding vinyl trimethoxysilane in a volume ratio is 5-7% to a solution having a volume ratio of methanol: deionized water is 10:90 for 1-2 hours.
