▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Biodegradable composition comprises 80-99.999 wt.% poly(glycerol sebacate) and 0.001-20 wt.% nanomaterial. USE - The biodegradable composition is used for coating or composite material including recycled paper, kraft paper, virgin paper and recycled polymer films, or disposable items such as shopping bags, packaging for fresh and processed food, plates, cups, spoons, straws and containers. ADVANTAGE - The bio-degradable composition is cost-effective, biocompatible and flexible, and has excellent oil resistance, water resistance, moisture resistance, oxygen resistance, mechanical strength and antibacterial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the biodegradable composition, comprising (i) mixing accurately weighed amount of poly(glycerol sebacate) (PGS) prepolymer and nanomaterial together for 1-48 hours at 10-120 degrees C, (ii) coating above obtained mixture on base paper, (iii) drying the coated base paper by removing the moisture content, and (iv) checking and recording the physical and chemical parameters of the coated base paper.
