NOVELTY - Managing disease involving auto immune activity, involves obtaining a biosample from an individual person or animal, delivering the biosample to a nanosensing device, obtaining data from nanosensing elements in the nanosensing device, comparing the data to a library comprising data organized to contain a signature associated with autoimmunity, recognizing associations between the biosample data and autoimmunity disease signatures and delivering a substance that modulates autophagic and/or mitophagic activity in disease associated with the biosample to the individual. USE - Method for managing, curing, treating and diagnosing disease involving autoimmune activity in person or animal having recognized or diagnosed inflammatory disorder such as type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, lupus, primary biliary cirrhosis, asthma (all claimed) and arthritis. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The method enables intercepting and mitigating the disease process at the point of origination to prevent the disease from developing and stops the lineage of cells causing disease symptoms, modulating the activity of errant proteins or other substances at the initiating point in the immune response to block the autoimmune cascade and prevent formation of secondary and tertiary effects that will characterize the disease, thus avoiding the appearance of secondary and tertiary symptoms by treating the primary cause and avoiding the side effects observed in multi-faceted approaches presently used to manage the disease symptoms rather than disease causation, applying highly sensitive and specific analysis to distinguish specific autoimmune diseases from other diseases presenting with similar symptoms and applying treatments optimized for the specific diseases.
