NOVELTY - Polymer composition comprises 1-99 wt.% polyetherimide resin, 1-70 wt.% crystalline polyester resin, 0.1-50 wt.% inherently dissipative polymer, and 0.001-10 wt.% transesterification inhibitor, where the polymer composition exhibits surface resistivity less than 1x 109 Ohms when measured in accordance with , and the combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed about 100 wt.%. USE - The composition is useful in semi-conductors, consumer electronics and industrial constructions, which is used to prevent electro-static accumulation. ADVANTAGE - The composition: exhibits surface resistivity from 1x 106and 1x 1010 Ohms when measured in accordance with ; exhibits L* color value of at least 80 when measured on spectrophotometer with D65 illumination in 10° observer in reflection mode; and exhibits heat deflection temperature of at least 140° C when tested in accordance with at 0.45 MPa and specimen thickness of 3.2 mm.
